Where are you in the world at the moment?

Nazareth. The beautiful Holy Land

Why did you decide to become an actor?

That’s a tough one. I don’t really know why. I chose to be here maybe because it is appealing for me to have this kind of space to try and express myself in so many different challenging ways, with different emotions and state of minds, in different languages and so on.

Do you have a favorite role?

No favorite roles. I want to always be challenged, surprised, and maybe even a little intimidated by the characters/souls that I want to pursue.

How different was it to work on an American show like "Invasion" compared to the Israeli projects you've done previously?
I think that it was the time thing mostly. In “Invasion” we had time to try to dig in into little details, whether it’s discussing how many unbuttoned buttons on my characters shirt in this scene and how it might serve the story, or how many takes and interpretations we can get out of a scene and shoot it. Time is money they said. “Invasion” was done on a big budget, and that is a big difference compared to the rest of the projects that I’ve done before. And yes, very different codes in America that I needed to learn and adjust.

What do you look for in roles that you pursue?

I look for roles that are far off from me and from what I know. Roles that push me to ask some more, that feed my curiosity and that are different from everything that I’ve done before.

Who are some actors you admire?

Meryl Streep, Ahmed Zaki, Al Pacino, Denzel Washington

What do you like best about acting?

As for now I’d say that I’m in love with the feeling, with this new challenge I have each time before a take or a show (on stage). considering the fact that I’m lucky enough to make a living out of these challenges.
