How are you holding up during this time of the pandemic?

It is very weird because life isn't the same as it was before. This pandemic has affected everyone. I was just talking to my family about it and we are all saying how grateful we are to be healthy during this time because that is a privilege that not everyone gets.

How did you start acting? Was it something you always wanted to pursue or did you just fall into it?

For me, acting was just something that I fell into.  I started out as a competitive dancer so I didn't have any acting background but knew I had a love for acting and being on stage from an early age. That’s how I started out and here I am today.

You portrayed young Anna on Frozen on Broadway.  Were you a fan of the franchise before?

Growing up, I remember I used to love watching the first movie. It was one of those films that took over so quickly that everyone knew about it, even if they have never watched it. When I got the opportunity to be a part of this whole franchise was surreal especially because I'm such a huge fan. It's always fun to be a part of something that you admire and that you enjoyed even before you took on the project.

What were your thoughts when you found out you got the opportunity to be in Frozen?

I truly thought I was dreaming because I didn't think it would happen. Looking back on it the chances of getting to portray a Disney princess are so surreal and slim. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be able to do that.

What kind of roles would you love to tackle in the future?

Right now I'm pretty open to new roles so I don't have a specific list of traits for what my character would need to have. Honestly, I want to see what kind of roles come my way and, if it’s meant to happen, I will book it.

Who are some artists you look up to and would love to work with in the future?

I admire pretty much anyone I work on a project with.  I have been lucky enough to be part of some amazing sets so the people I have worked with every day inspired me so much because they're so talented. You don't know what the future is gonna hold so I would be grateful to work on projects with people that I consider passionate and kind.

What are some shows or movies that you enjoyed in the past couple of months?

Because of quarantine and staying at home, I have been able to watch a lot of television. On Netflix, I watched Outer Banks, The Office. I also spent a lot of time on Disney Plus.

What are your plans for the future?

I would love to be able to continue acting and even if I won't be able to,  I want to do something that makes me genuinely happy. My plan for the future is to be happy and to work on things that I care about.

If you weren’t an actress, what other career would you pursue?

If I wasn't an actress I would definitely become a dancer.  As I said before,  I originally started with dancing and I still take dancing lessons. While I have been focusing on acting, I still love to dance and would probably do it as a career if given the chance.

What are some issues you would love to raise awareness for?

One of my friends was actually diagnosed with cancer a while ago. Thankfully she is fine now but this has been an issue that I feel strongly connected to. Hopefully, I can bring awareness to it and help people who have to go through and fight this disease to get better.
