Actors who can play complex, troubled characters effortlessly deserves a lot of respect in my book. Exploring dark, layered characters and bringing them to life takes tremendous skill and actor Calum Worthy is someone who is passionate and dedicated enough do it.

His role as Nick Godejohn in Hulu’s The Act placed him in the center stage as an actor worthy to be taken seriously. The actor is in fact, someone who has been taking acting seriously since he was young. Calum is disciplined and employs certain methods to his acting process. Speaking with him revealed a lot of good qualities about him not only as an actor but also as a person.

His innate curiosity about human behaviors and interactions enables him to explore the psyche, the history and the characteristics of the characters that he plays.

In this special issue, join us as we explore the actor’s different angles and read through his stories about his acting process, working alongside Joey King and Patricia Arquette in The Act, his upcoming projects and his desire to work with the greats like Al Pacino, Daniel-Day Lewis and Tom hanks. Calum’s book takes briefly to the world of an actor who is more than ready to be taken seriously.
