Who is Maverick? Tell us your story.
Maverick =

• A person who shows independence of thought and action.

• An unorthodox or independent-minded person.

• A rebel.

• A lone dissenter.
- There's a hundred ways to describe the name I carry. Only one of me.

My story briefly put... a tale most wouldn't believe, yet all would love to hear, and most won't.

What's your ethnic background?

Puerto Rican & Irish

Where are you from originally?

Colorado!

Tell us about your hometown.

Listen to "Rocky Mountain High" by John Denver, and then add a little bit of hood to that.

Where are you based now? You think you would stay there for a while?

Los Angeles, most likely will be here for a few years! Mainly for work, because I can't say I love this city yet..

What inspired you to be a model?

Growing up I understood very young that the good looking guys in Advertisements and Movies always seemed to be liked, successful, and have tons of women around them, so I wanted to be one of them.
Of course as I got older, I started to appreciate the art within fashion and photography and my initial desires to model had changed. Slightly ;)

How long have you been modeling?

3 years.

Tell us about your earliest modeling gig. Can you still remember it? How was it?

My first ever modeling gig was a Charity runway show in Denver, got paid $120 to do it and the suit was waaay to big on me. Fell in love with the adrenaline of walking out in front of 800 pairs of eyes.

What’s your favorite part in being a model?

Meeting great people all the time, every day is new.

Tell us about your most memorable experience so far.

Working for Calvin Klein in NYC. Dream come true. Big Apple, Calvin Klein Headquarters, White Robes, Cameras. Just like I always imagined.

How do you manage your time as a model?

Hectically! Things pop up all the time, within an hour sometimes so I have to constantly be prepared to get up and go.

If you can compare your modeling experiences with your favorite movie, what would it be?

Just like the movie "300" there's a lot of men in tiny underwear.

What's your favorite among the Harry Potter Movies?

Goblet of Fire. Big HP fan.

It's amazing and refreshing to know that you can cook. How often do you cook and what is your favorite food.

Gotta learn to cook if you wanna eat right? I cook a few nights a week.

My favorite food would have to be Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

Book that you’re currently reading.

The Unbearable Lightness of Being.

What else keeps you busy aside from modeling?

Acting. I'm lucky enough that my only two jobs are Modeling and Acting, both financially providing for me.

What comes next after modeling?

Acting, writing, directing, music, photography, and anything else related to creativity.

Any advice you can give to any aspiring models out there?

Just stick with it, it doesn't happen over night. Also, do your research on everything and everyone within the Industry. The internet and social media are pretty much world libraries at this point.

Dream project?

Acting alongside with Matthew McConaughey or A worldwide campaign for one of the top 10 major fashion houses. Versace, Dior, Prada, etc...

Dream Client?

I'd love to work for Calvin Klein again, maybe a campaign this time!

Tell us a secret.

I love chick flicks.

Currently binge watching _____
