Tell us about your story.

I grew up in the Black Forest with 500 people in my hometown and followed my impulses and ended up in the US as a Model and Actor. I am now working on my YouTube Channel and publishing books and realized how amazing life can be if we just let go and follow our first Impulse no matter how irrational it seems.

Tell us more about your hometown.

It is in the South of Germany and has a population of around 500 people. So everybody know each other and there is not much going on except for Trees, Cuckoo clocks and Black Forest Cake.

I love to go home after spending some time in New York or LA to just clear my mind and hug a tree.

Where are you currently based? Which city do you see yourself in?

I am constantly traveling to Europe and also have jobs in Asia and Australia but I mainly stay in New York City. I know that I want to move to Los Angeles very soon though. I really enjoyed the lifestyle there!

How did modeling start for you? How were you scouted?

I actually pushed myself and organized my first shoots until a scout from New York found me on Facebook. I had never been to the US before but just took a flight and went to New York without knowing anybody.

What inspired you to be a model?

I always loved to express myself and modeling was a fun way to capture certain moments I was going through.

How long have you been modeling?

Besides from early testshoots in the Black Forest I have been modeling professionally for about two years.

What's the best part of being a model?

The freedom to live in different places and the vast number of possible experiences that can come at any given time!

What's your most memorable experience in modeling so far?

My most memorable experience is an editorial I did in the outback in Australia. We fought our way through a kangaroo farm with spiders and found a crashed car that we used for the shoot.

How do you manage your time as a model?

I write down my things to do for every single day and work out in the mornings so I can fit in all the castings and auditions.

Top 3 songs on your playlist right now.

Gaia- Armin van Buuren
Who you are- Jesse J
Ohne dich- Rammstein

Early Bird or Night Owl?

What is your dream project?

Going on a paid Video Mission to explore different foods around the world! I am very passionate about food and would love to get into food vlogging when nobody was doing it!

Dream client?

Yohji Yamamoto

What comes next after modeling?

I am writing on my first book right now- so besides from acting and YouTube I will dedicate more of my time to writing which has always been one of my biggest passions.

Advice to any aspiring models out there?

Do not worry about expectations of other people. If it feels right for you- go for it!

Book that you're currently reading

Time for Change- Varoufakis

Books About politics in the EU

If you are going to have a book title, what would it be and why?

Itsamee, Maaariiioo!

Itsamee has become my catchphrase but also a way of life.

Whatever I do I make fun as my number one priority. My main goal is to be authentic and not having to put on a mask and pretend to be someone else!

I just wanna be me. #itsamee

If you will be given the chance and opportunity to help a specific charity, what would it be and why?

I would support children who don't have the opportunity to realize their dreams because they don't have access to education. It's the most frustrating thing I experienced when I lived in Peru for a year and many children have potential and dreams and the only thing holding them back is the lack of education.
